Sá project is responding to a common
desire to explore dialogues between music and image improvisation.
This duo explores his own
speech, audible and visual, providing moments of complicity between Viola and
real time video
João Camões (1983) Civil Engineer. Began his musical studies
with 7 years old. At 12 started studying violin in Conservatório de Música de
Coimbra. Changed his instrument to viola at 16. Currently, pursues his studies
in particular with Samuel Barsegian.Recently, he has discovered the bustling
creative and improvised music scene in Lisbon.
Kátia Sá (1977) With a background in Sculpture and Multimedia
Art, is a Visual Arts Teacher. Explores several mediums, namely
photography, experimental video, installation art and programming of
interactive systems, image for shows and recently, improvised image in
collaboration with musicians.
